The City Council of the City of Rocky Top will conduct a Public Hearing on Thursday, August 20th 2020 at 5:30 p.m. regarding the City’s intent to exceed the certified tax rate within the Rocky Top City Limits in Anderson and Campbell Counties and to amend the 2020-2021 Budget Ordinance. This Public Hearing will be held in at Rocky Top City Hall, which is located at 195 South Main Street, Rocky Top, TN 37769. The certified tax rate as defined by T.C.A. ß67-5-1701 is $1.7903 per $100 of assessed valuation. The City’s proposed fiscal year 2020 budget, as amended, will require a tax levy of $2.00 per $100 of assessed valuation.
